My Bavarian Cousin Beer Cocktail

Our Augustine's Orange Amber Ale provides a juicy orange sweetness followed by hints of caramel that blends well with the fruit juices in this cocktail. These fruity undertones complement the darker, smoky flavors of nutmeg and whiskey to create this rich beverage.



Ingredients

  • 2 ounces Bulleit Rye

  • 1/4 ounce St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram

  • 1/2 ounce lemon juice

  • 1/2 ounce grapefruit juice

  • 1 1/2 ounces Augustine's Orange Amber Ale

  • Grated nutmeg

  • Lemon & grapefruit slices for garnish

Directions

Combine all ingredients except beer and nutmeg in a whiskey rock or highball glass. Stir to incorporate. Top with Orange Amber Ale, garnish with freshly grated nutmeg & fruit slices.
